The BAE Audio PDIS is a stereo version of the best-selling BAE PDI passive direct box. Each unit is hand-wired and equipped with a class-leading OEP/Carnhill transformer for rich, warm analog tone in the studio and on the road. With two hi-Z 1/4” inputs, two low-Z XLR outputs, and four 1/4” thru outputs, the BAE PDIS is ideal for tracking analog synths or recording multiple guitars simultaneously. A solid steel chassis, rugged Neutrik connectors and versatile features like built-in ground lift switches, the BAE PDIS is the ultimate stereo DI box.
Just like the original BAE PDI, the PDIS features a frequency response of 10 Hz to 40 kHz, making it an excellent solution for capturing bass and guitar recordings with powerful lows and brilliant highs. But with two high-impedance unbalanced inputs, the BAE PDIS is perfect for recording analog synthesizers. Unlike cold and sterile digital inputs, the BAE PDIS captures the true analog essence of classic vintage synths.
