Founded by Wynton R. Morro in the United States, Avalon Design provides engineers, producers and musicians with great sonic quality equipment. These systems utilize pure Class A amplifiers incorporated into minimal signal path designs which include sealed silver relays, balanced DC coupled high-current “outside-world” drivers, fully discrete linear DC regulators, low noise toroidal power transformers and selected high quality active and passive components. This powerful combination of design features gives increased musical headroom and greater dynamic transient capability for a transparent audio passage.

The VT-737SP is a mono, dual, preamp that features a Class A vacuum tube triodes opto-compressor, 4-band equalizer and an optical attenuator that acts as a passive level control. Full dynamic control from soft compression to hard-knee limiting can be achieved with threshold ratio-compression, attack and release controls plus gain reduction selection on the large VU meter. The AD2022 is a symmetrical Pure Class A microphone preamplifier. With a very transparent signal treatment it incorporates several additional functions. Includes regulated high-voltage power supplies, two high-impedance instrument inputs, passive high-pass filter, variable and dual printed circuits for a very low-level signal transfer.

Ideal for ribbon, dynamic and condenser microphones, bass guitar, acoustic instruments, electric guitars, keyboards, synthesizers, and very low output passive pickups. The V5 offers deep and controlled musical mid-range and enhanced vocal projection in addition with a unique set of user features including an instrument level transformer isolated Re-amp.
