Lynx Studio, a leading manufacturer of some of the finest audio converters in the industry for the past 25 years, based in Costa Mesa, California, is set to unveil the MESA at NAMM 2025. This desktop interface is expected to revolutionize the market, not only because of its advanced features and functionality but also because it comes with a built-in recorder.
The MESA combines the impressive touchscreen interface of the Hilo 2 with the conversion technology of the Aurora(n). Its minimalist control panel provides access to all essential functions, featuring two headphone outputs and a MicroSD slot on the front panel.
Its analog input stage includes four combo XLR inputs, with Hi-Z inputs for guitars. On the output side, it features a pair of TRS analog outputs as well as digital outputs for greater flexibility in signal management.
Digital Connectivity & Advanced Features:
The MESA’s digital connectivity includes optical ADAT I/O, coaxial S/PDIF, and word clock I/O. Thanks to these features, it can be used as a standalone MicroSD recorder, an independent AD/DA converter, or a Thunderbolt 3 audio interface.
Having this level of conversion quality in an almost pocket-sized format is a major advantage. Whether in a home studio or a live recording setup, the MESA is a high-end interface with a design that is intuitive for any user.
