Lynx Studio presents the new LT-TB3 Thunderbolt 3 expansion card
The acclaimed Lynx Studio Hilo and Aurora (n) converters increase their connection options with the new LT-TB3 expansion card that offers direct connectivity to Thunderbolt 3 equipped computers without the need of Thunderbolt adapters
Lynx Studio takes advantage of the enormous possibilities offered by Thunderbolt 3 protocol to develop the LT-TB3 expansion card and keep the Hilo and Aurora (n) interfaces among those preferred by the most demanding professionals. The new module provides faster and more stable connectivity, lower latency and a wide bandwidth to handle more channels at the highest sample rates. Another advantage that the LT-TB3 brings to us is the possibility of linking up to 6 Aurora (n) interfaces to reach a total of 192 analog channels with up to 40 Gbps of bi-directional speed.
The LT-TB3 card follows the non-obsolescence tradition of Lynx Studio integrating perfectly with Hilo and Aurora (n) converters already manufactured with a free and simple firmware update. This new expansion card is certified by Apple and Intel so it can be used with Mac Os X and Windows. The new LT-TB3 can also be plugged to Thunderbolt 1 and 2 ports using the appropriate adapter. We remind you that this new module is not compatible with the old “silver” Aurora models.
In Reflexion Arts we have more details of the new LT-TB3 Thunderbolt 3 from Lynx Studio that, with a very competitive price, guarantees that Hilo and Aurora (n) continue to be compatible with future high performance connectivity standards both Windows and Mac.
