General Conditions for Second-Hand Material

The purchase and sale of second-hand equipment is a service offered by Reflexion Arts to its current and potential clients, aimed at ensuring satisfactory transactions for both buyers and sellers.

The “Second-Hand” section offers used professional audio equipment for sale, operating under the “Post-Payment” method.

  • Post-Payment: If the sale price is agreed upon by both parties (Reflexion Arts and the owner) based on a realistic market price, the transaction can proceed under this method. Reflexion Arts will advertise the equipment on behalf of the owners, charging only a commission upon successful sale while ensuring the financial transaction between buyer and seller is conducted securely.

How Does Post-Payment Work?

  1. Reflexion Arts receives information from the owner and advertises it on the website, agreeing in advance on price, commission, and any additional necessary details.
  2. The buyer contacts Reflexion Arts and makes the payment for the material.
  3. The owner ships the material to the buyer.
  4. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer..
  5. Upon receiving the material, the buyer has 3 working days to test and verify that the material’s condition matches the description provided by the owner.
  6. After this period, Reflexion Arts transfers the agreed-upon payment to the owner, deducting any additional expenses or commissions, and assumes no further responsibility for defects found in the equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions: Post-Payment

  • Ad Expiration: Each year, Reflexion Arts will contact sellers to confirm that the products remain available. If the seller does not respond, the ad will be removed.
  • VAT: Advertised prices do not include VAT, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Shipping: The seller must properly package the material to prevent damage during transport. Neither the buyer nor Reflexion Arts will be held responsible for damages caused by inadequate packaging. Shipping costs are always the buyer’s responsibility, who can choose the transport company and necessary insurance. If Reflexion Arts’ shipping services are used and any issues arise due to poor packaging, Reflexion Arts assumes no liability.
  • Receiving Material in Poor Condition: If the issue is transportation-related, the buyer must contact the shipping company or their insurance provider to make the necessary claims. If the received material does not match the initial description provided by the owner regarding its condition, the buyer can cancel the transaction, returning the material to the owner with shipping costs to be paid by the owner. The buyer will be refunded the initial amount paid, minus any applicable bank fees. This testing period is strictly for verifying the material’s condition; it does not cover preferences such as “I like it” or “I don’t like it.” Buyers must know what they are purchasing.
  • Warranties: After the testing period, no further responsibility will be accepted regarding the material’s functionality. It is the owner’s obligation to provide Reflexion Arts with accurate information about the equipment being sold.
